It is an important part of the Rize-Erzurum-Bingöl-Diyarbakır-Mardin route. Within the scope of the project, 900,000 tonnes of Plant Mix Base and Plant Mix Subbase and 1,500,000 m² asphalt pavement will be constructed.
With the 4.750-metre double tube passage tunnel with a total length of 9.500 metres to be constructed at the Erzurum-Bingöl Highway Çirişli location, the road elevation will decrease from 2.390 to 2.090 and it is aimed to keep the road open to service with less maintenance costs in winter months.
