Açılım Construction constructed a total of 28.5 km of dual lane highway between Izmit and Yalova, which is a non-alternative route connecting Turkey's most important metropolis Istanbul to Bursa and Izmir, on a basin land located between mountain slopes and the sea. In the region where the vehicle passage volume reaches 70,000 during the peak season, 17,309 m3 of concrete and reinforced concrete manufacturing and 8,400 metres of excavation were carried out within the scope of 523,000 m3 of land work. 287,000 tonnes of tar, 247,000 tonnes of Plant Mixed Base, 177,500 Plant Mixed Subbase were used. 16,000 metres of rainwater pipe line, 17,630 metres of steel and concrete guardrails were constructed, 6 steel construction pedestrian overpasses were completed.
